Camp House Rules

These are requests for your cooperation in creating a safe and comfortable environment at the TORCH campsite. We ask for your cooperation in creating a free and friendly environment.
Silent Time
Silent time will begin at 8:00 PM.
Please refrain from moving your vehicle in the camping area after this time.
Please refrain from speaking loudly.
Please be mindful of noises such as car idling and door opening/closing sounds.
・We ask for your cooperation in creating a peaceful evening for everyone who will be spending the night with us.
Quiet Time
There is no set lights-out time, but please dispose of any fires or trash, dim your lanterns, and spend time in your tents around 10:00 PM.
Shower & bathroom usage time
The available hours are from 15:00 to 20:00 .
- Use during the morning hours is subject to a fee.
There is also a hot spring called " Yashio no Yu " about a 10-minute drive away (closed on Thursdays). If you are using the auto campsite, please return by 8:00 PM.
| Shower & Bathroom Fees
• Shower fees are included in the reservation price only for the night of your stay (use the following morning will incur an additional charge).
The bathroom is available for private use by reservation only, and there is an additional charge of 1,000 yen (tax included, per use, per hour).
| Management building opening hours
・We will close around 8:30 PM.
Please note that the store may close earlier on some days.
• After the administration building closes, the main lights will be turned off.
| Check-out time
It will be 11:00.
Late check-out is available for ¥1,000 (tax included) per site, per stay. Late check-out is available until 2 PM. Please inform us at check-in, or contact us separately after your reservation is complete, stating your request and arrival time. Payment can be made in cash or via PayPay at check-in on the day of arrival.
| About the kitchen
After use, please rinse the work surface and sink thoroughly.
- Place any food waste accumulated in the drain into the provided bag and then into the trash can.
・We apologize for the inconvenience, but please don't forget.
Please wash barbecue grills, pegs, etc., at the nearby outdoor faucet, not in the sink.
| About garbage
When going out or going to bed, be sure to move all food, drinks, and trash into your car or tent.
Deer and monkeys inhabit the mountains of TORCH. Also, bear sightings have been increasing throughout Japan in recent years, particularly in residential areas.
This is very important for everyone's safety and for creating a safe camping environment, so we ask for your cooperation.
(Burnable waste)
We will explain how to separate your trash at check-in, but please put your combustible waste in a bag about the size of a supermarket bag and hand it over to us at check-out.
(Charcoal and ash)
We will provide you with an ash container at check-in. Unburned charcoal does not decompose naturally. Please cooperate by burning all firewood and charcoal to ashes.
(Recyclable waste: glass bottles, cans, plastic bottles, waste paper)
Please plan ahead to take your food home if possible.
・In the unlikely event that the item cannot be loaded into your vehicle, we will collect it for a fee of 500 yen per collection.
We cannot accept non-burnable waste such as batteries, or bulky waste such as damaged tents or folding chairs. Please take them home with you.
丨Prohibited matters
(Open flame)
Even a small spark can cause the grass to catch fire. Always use a fire pit and fireproof sheeting to prevent embers from falling to the ground.
(firework)
The area is surrounded by forests and mountains, and due to the terrain, it is often windy. Both aerial and handheld fireworks are not permitted.
(Something that makes a sound)
- The use of equipment that produces loud noises, such as generators and amplifiers, is not permitted.
Please refrain from playing guitars or ukuleles, and from playing music through speakers.
(Shared space)
When playing with balls, frisbees, badminton, etc., please use the grassy area in the shared space.
- Parking and stairs within each tent site and camping area are not permitted.
(The lowest level is a paved space with asphalt)
・Due to car traffic, this area cannot be used for playing with balls, balance bikes, or kick scooters.
(Other prohibited items)
Air guns , water balloons, drones, skateboards/scooters, etc.
