At "Shunsai-kan," a shop frequented by locals, you'll find nearly 50 kinds of freshly picked vegetables! They stock fresh ingredients perfect for camping trips, as well as Nikko's local specialties. It's a selection that will make you want to buy and immediately start a BBQ.

Watanabe Meat Shop

This long-established butcher shop is popular for its branded pork, Nikko HIMITSU pork. TORCH staff even tried it during a camping trip! Enjoy a fantastic time with a bonfire, meat, and craft beer. Highly recommended for a stop during sightseeing or camping!

Lake Chuzenji Boathouse

 

Built in the 1940s, the Chuzenji Lake Boathouse is a hidden gem on Nikko's Lake Chuzenji, offering a tranquil lakeside setting and a historic building that soothes the soul. Visitors can also enjoy stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) and leisurely strolls.

A hidden gem in Imaichi, Nikko City. The piping hot, thick soup of the Cantonese noodles and the fried rice that you can enjoy to the last bite are exquisite! Be sure to experience the flavors that have been loved by locals for many years.

Fudaraku Honpo

"Yuba Musubi" is a rice ball wrapped in fluffy, chewy okowa (steamed glutinous rice) cooked with yuba (tofu skin), a specialty of Nikko. It's only available in stores and in limited quantities, so we recommend grabbing one without hesitation.

A long-established restaurant in Nikko that has been loved by locals for over 70 years. Renga-ya's healthy yakisoba is light and refreshing, and we recommend trying it with different toppings.
